Harvest and Vinification
Beginning of October we selected the ripe Zweigelt- grapes with 17,5° KMW by hand. After crushing and desteming and five hours standing time for maceration, the mash was pressed carefully, followed by settling overnight, temperature controlled. Fermented in stainless steel for about 9 days at 17–18 °C. On the fine lees till middle of December. Bottled beginning of February.
Tasting notes
Shiny rosé colour. Fresh and fruity nose of raspberries and red cherries. Animating and juicy fruit with little spicyness continues on the pallet, lively and elegant. Dry. A perfect summerwine!
